What are add-ons?
Professional plans include core PMS and distribution. WhatsApp, Guest Portal, AI, and Diafa Resto are available as optional add-ons so you only pay for what you use.
Does Diafa PMS work offline?
All operations continue on the local database. Sync resumes automatically when connected.
What kind of support do you provide?
Starter includes email support. Professional adds priority email. Enterprise includes priority support with chat.
Is my data secure?
Your front desk data is stored locally on your machine. Cloud sync is hosted securely with encrypted connections by Diafa PMS in servers in Helsinki, Finland, or in the same country as the property, depending on the local laws.
Can I use Diafa PMS for a hostel?
Yes. Hostels are supported, with dormitory room types including individual bed records and bed-level inventory, booking, and housekeeping.
Do you support multiple properties?
Yes, on Enterprise plans. One account can manage multiple properties and access cross-property settings.
What platforms does Diafa PMS run on?
The front desk app runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The housekeeping app runs on Android. The monitoring app for managers run also on Windows, macOS, and Linux. A version on Android is also being developped.
Where are your servers located?
Our cloud infrastructure is hosted in Finland and Algeria. Data from European clients is processed and stored on our Finnish servers and does not leave Europe. As we expand to new markets, we adapt our infrastructure to comply with local data protection regulations.
Is Diafa PMS GDPR compliant?
Yes. Diafa PMS includes guest data export on request, data anonymization, consent tracking, and configurable retention policies with auto-anonymization. Professional and Enterprise plans include the full GDPR compliance toolkit.
Can I migrate from my current system?
Yes. We handle data migration from your existing PMS, spreadsheets, or other database filetypes. This process could be free or costing a fee, depending on the complexity.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your front desk data is stored locally on your machine. You can export your data at any time. If you cancel your subscription, your local data remains yours.
How does installation work?
Our team handles the installation remotely. We install the front desk app on your machine, configure your property settings, and migrate your existing data when possible.
